Dr. Raskin received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto and completed her residency training in New York. At Primary Trauma Center, Dr. Raskin’s training at St. Barnabas Hospital focused on emergency dentistry and trauma management, treatment of medically compromised patients, advanced surgical and cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Raskin’s areas of interest include dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. When you’re in Dr. Raskin’s dental chair, her primary focus is to “provide you an excellent experience along with outstanding care.” Her philosophy is to promote lifelong oral health by providing an exceptional, individualized dental care experience to well- educated and motivated patients, founded on trust, confidence, and delivering evidence- based, high quality patient care.
Dr. Raskin aims to remove any barriers that impact our patients’ ability to achive and maintain a happy and healthy smile! She loves being in a tight-knit community full of great people. So when the opportunity to move to the area presented itself, she jumped at it. Outside of work, Dr. Raskin enjoys spending time with her husband and son. When she’s not helping patients like you, Dr. Raskin enjoys golfing, yoga, photography and hiking. She also enjoys jazz music and art. She also makes time for friends and family and getting involved in her community.
Additionally, Dr. Raskin holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology. Because of her commitment to the advancement of clinical dentistry and her academic background, Dr. Raskin teaches as a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry.
Dr. Raskin is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Cosmetic Association, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
